Cause nowadays surf is very popular, everybody just want the finest surfboard and the quickest one, they just all want the lightest one to make aerial.... So they just buy board shaped by machine and they just can't surf it properly cause they're not all kelly Slater....there is just one....


Parce que de nos jours le surf est très -trop- populaire, tout le monde veut la planche la plus fine, la plus rapide et la plus légère pour faire des airs... Donc les gens achètent des board shapées par des machines et ils ne peuvent pas les surfer correctement parce que tout le monde n'est pas Kelly Slater... Il y en a qu'un ...

This my last shortboard that i add on my quiver, she came from a one year project... and i participate to the shaping of this one..... a board that you keep all y our life...

Voila ma dernière acquisition (en planche courte) que je viens d'ajouter à mon quiver, le résultat d'un projet long d'une année... auquel j'ai participé (shape assemblage collectage du bois) une planche qu'on garde à vie...

I need to collect the wood to find a carpinter to make the template, and get the pieces ready to be glue, then to glue and to start to cut the piece and start a bit of shaping..... then a good friend finish the work to make the board surfable.....It's not only a surfboard it's a project a work of one year and a piece of Art shaped by Daniel Costa....  http://retromovement.blogspot.com/

J'ai eu besoin de collecter le bois magique (balsa), trouver un menuisier qui fasse du bon boulot (ce qui n'est pas une mince affaire), faire les patrons de la planche, couper et préparer les morceaux de balsa, faire le contour de la planche et commencer le shape du concave.... Un bon ami shaper  a terminé le shape pour être sur que la planche fonctionne ... Ce n'est pas seulement une planche c'est l'aboutissement d'un projet, un travail d'une année, et une oeuvre d'art shapé par mon ami Daniel Costa...http://retromovement.blogspot.com/

This board is not the lighter one but she does glide very well ! and  surfing with a woodboard is a different world....and also the satisfaction to surf a board that you build (a part not entirely) by your own hands....

Cette planche n'est pas la plus légère, mais elle glisse très bien! surfé avec une planche en bois c'est tellement agréable surtout quand on a participé à sa fabrication.
